Issuing of Certificates (Alumni)

The issue of various kinds of certificates who have completed study programs at the Graduate School of Engineering can be requested at the Graduate School of Engineering office, or by postal mail.

  • If you need a certificate from the Faculty of Engineering, please see Issuing of Certificates (Faculty of Engineering).
  • As a rule, postal handling is available only within Japan. If you require that certificates be sent overseas, please contact us separately.

Processing Time

Generally it takes two to four days from the time a request is received to prepare certificates in Japanese, and it takes five to seven days  to prepare certificates in English.(These estimates are in working days; Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the New Year holiday are excluded.)

Note that the time needed to prepare certificates may vary significantly according to factors such as the information to be certified, the period in which the request is made, and year of graduation.

What you need to send us

  1. Request for Certificate Issuance

  2. ID card(Coppy)
  3. Stamped self-addressed envelope
    State your name and address clearly, and affix stamps to the correct postage value.
    Please use a chokei No. 3 (120 x 235 mm) or a kakugata No. 2 (240 x 332 mm) envelope.
