• NDL-ONLINE [National Diet Library]
  The National Diet Library holds documents relating to the legal deposit system in Japan. You can search not only for books, journals and newspapers, but also for doctoral theses. You can request an interlibrary loan.

  You can search WorldCat to find books and journals from libraries around the world. WorldCat is provided by OCLC in the US.
• Engineering Index [ProQuest] [the authentication system is required]
  Abstracts are available from January 1993 to the present. Sources covered include over 350 periodicals, conference proceedings, technical reports, trade journal/newsletter items, patents, books, and press releases.
