You can use the following databases when you study and research. These databases will be introduced to students and teachers from the faculty and graduate school of engineering.

  Some databases are only accessible from KU. The caution "only in KU" is written at the right of the database's title. You need to enter your ECS-ID or SPS-ID to access them.

*An ECS-ID or SPS-ID is issued to students (ECS-ID) or faculty /staff members (SPS-ID) by the Institute of Information Management and Communication. Your ID will be in the format: a0******.

Finding resources in the National Diet Library [NDL]

    The National Diet Library (http://www.ndl.go.jp/index.html) holds documents relating to the legal deposit system in Japan.
    You can search not only for books, journals and newspapers, but also for doctoral theses. You can request an interlibrary loan.

    Abstracts are available from January 1993 to the present. Sources covered include over 350 periodicals, conference proceedings, technical reports, trade journal/newsletter items, patents, books, and press releases.
