It is available The Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Libraries provided by the National Diet Library, Japan (NDL) .
This service allows users to view and copy digital images of materials digitized by the NDL that are difficult to obtain due to out-of-print issues at Kyoto University Katsura Library.
The NDL launched a Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Individuals. The Service is available to official registered users of the NDL.

Those who can use this service
Kyoto University Student, Faculty and Staff, Emeritus.Browsing
Graduates and general users cannot use it.
Copy
Those who can use public expense of Engineer Faculty.
* You cannot make copies at your own expense.
Available Materials
Materials that are labeled as "Available only at the NDL and partner libraries" on National Diet Library Digital Collections page is available .
You can check "Available only at the NDL and partner libraries" to search.
Browsing
Please fill out the application form at the counter and show your student ID.
You can use it after a staff member logs in with a dedicated terminal.
Digital images cannot be downloaded, saved, or shot with a camera.
Copy
You can copy materials indicated as "Available only at the NDL and partner libraries" in compliance with copyright.
Only public expenses are available. If you have not register public expenses, please submit "Application for MyKULINE".
Copying charge : Black and White copies are 5 yen per page, colour copies are 10 yen.
We can only give you paper copies.
Copying is done by staff. Please fill out the application form at the counter.
You can apply for through MyKULINE. Go to KUINE and click [Copy request] and enter the necessary information and apply for copying. Be sure to enter "NDL the Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Libraries", persistent ID and frame number in the Notes field of the application form.
We will contact you by email when the copies are ready, so please come to Katsura library to pick them up.
