Course Description

This lecture gives an outline of disaster prevention and reduction countermeasures both inside and outside Japan with special reference to disaster information related topics. Concrete examples of disaster information systems are introduced to show that psychological aspect of information users under critical social conditions is carefully taken into account in such current disaster information systems.
