Issuing of Certificates (Graduate School of Engineering)

Important: Planned change in certificate issuance process (updated in February, 2025)

Starting Thursday 13 March 2025, the issuance of certificates for graduates will be consolidated into the online Certificate Issuance Service (fee required).
The first major change is that WEB-application is required.
Further details will be provided in due course.

Processing Time

Generally it takes two to four days from the time a request is received to prepare certificates in Japanese, and it takes five to seven days  to prepare certificates in English.(These estimates are in working days; Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the New Year holiday are excluded.)

Note that the time needed to prepare certificates may vary significantly according to factors such as the information to be certified, the period in which the request is made, and year of graduation.
