Issuing of Certificates (Faculty of Engineering)

Important Notice

Our office will be closed from August 12 to August 17, 2025 for summer  holidays.If you
need certificate during this period, please apply by August 4, 2025.We will start work from August 18, 2025.
We apologize for your inconvenience during this period.

Starting Thursday 13 March 2025, the issuance of certificates for graduates will be consolidated into the online Certificate Issuance Service (fee required ).
The first major change is that WEB-application is required.

• If you need a certificate from the Graduate School of Engineering, please see Issuing of Certificates (Graduate School of Engineering).
• As a rule, postal handling is available only within Japan. If you require that certificates be sent overseas, please contact us separately.
• Please note that the envelopes used to mail out certificates are not stamp-sealed, except in the case of academic records in Japanese. If you need to insist on the use of a stamp-sealed envelope, please state this clearly.

Processing Time

Generally it takes two to four days from the time a request is received to prepare certificates in Japanese. , and it takes five to seven days  to prepare certificates in English. (These estimates are in working days; Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the New Year holiday period are excluded.)

Note that the time needed to prepare certificates may vary significantly according to factors such as the information to be certified, the period in which the request is made, and year of graduation.
