Issuing of Certificates (Alumni)

The issue of various kinds of certificates who have completed study programs at the Graduate School of Engineering can be requested at the Graduate School of Engineering office, or by postal mail.

• If you need a certificate from the Faculty of Engineering also, you can request together with Master/Doctoral certificate. As a rule, postal handling is available only within Japan.

• If you need these certificates be sent overseas, please contact us by email first.

Processing Time

Generally it takes two to four days from the time a request is received to prepare certificates in Japanese, and it takes five to seven days  to prepare certificates in English.(These estimates are in working days; Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the New Year holiday are excluded.)

Note that the time needed to prepare certificates may vary significantly according to factors such as the information to be certified, the period in which the request is made, and year of graduation. 

  What you need to send us

1. Request for Certificate Issuance
   Request form for Certificates
2. ID card（e.g. a Copy of Passport）
3. A Stamped self-addressed envelope
   State your name and address clearly, and affix stamps to the correct postage value.
   Please use a chokei No. 3 (120 x 235 mm) or a kakugata No. 2 (240 x 332 mm) envelope.

       Please write "Request for the certificate" in red on the  envelope

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Our office will be closed from August 13 to 16, 2024 for summer holidays.

If you need any certificates during this period, please send the request form by August 5, 2024.
We will start work from August 19, 2024.
