How to Make a Presentation
This page will help you search for books, content, and library facilities for your presentation.
Learn the basics of presentations
Kyoto University Libraries offer many books and content that are useful for presentations. Before you start creating slides, learn how to structure and design your presentation to make it more understandable.
Depending on the understandability of your presentation, the evaluation will vary greatly even if the content is the same. It is important to have a structure that will attract the audience's interest and strongly emphasize your presentation's key points.
Useful content
On KULINE (KU Libraries Online Catalog), you can search for useful books and materials for presentations.

Practice
Once you have completed your presentation slides, practice them aloud.
Is your presentation monotonous and boring for the audience?
Are there any points in your presentation where you can engage the audience?
Can you change the structure of your presentation slides so that you are "speaking" instead of reading the script?
Rehearse your presentation by having friends or lab members listen, and improve the quality of your presentation.
